Scott Stapp is an American singer and songwriter. Stapp is best known as the lead singer and lyricist for the rock band Creed. He also leads the group Art of Anarchy and released three solo albums: The Great Split, Proof of Life and The Space Between the Shadows. Stapp has received several awards, including many RIAA certifications. Mark Tremonti, a teammate of Stapp and Creed, won the Grammy Award for Best Rock Song in 2001 as the author of the song Creed "With Arms Wide Open".
