Penelope Ann Miller, sometimes referred to as Penelope Miller, is an American actress. She began her Broadway career in the original 1985 production of Biloxi Blues and received a Tony Award nomination for the rebirth of Our Town in 1989. She has appeared in several major Hollywood films, particularly in the late 1980s and in the early 1990s, including Adventures in Babys Looks, Biloxi Blues, Big Top Pee-swing, The Freshman, Awakenings, Kindergarten Cop, Other People's Money, Year of the Comet, and Carlito's Way, for which she received a nomination at the Golden Globe Awards. She returned to Broadway in the original 1995 On the Waterfront film. His other films include lead roles in The Relic and supporting roles in Chaplin, Along Came a Spider and The Artist.
