Kevin Graham Ogilvie, known professionally as Nivek Ogre, is a Canadian musician, performer and actor best known for his work with the industrial group Skinny Puppy, played by him. Co-Founder with cEvin Key. Since 1982, he has been the vocalist and lead vocalist of Skinny Puppy, occasionally providing musical instruments and sample music. Ogre's charismatic personality, husky voice and use of fake blood, props and costumes on stage have helped expand Skinny Puppy's fan base and inspired many other musicians. In 2001, he formed the electronic group ohGr with longtime collaborator Mark Walk. Originally named W.E.L.T., ohGr has released five studio albums since 2001, three of which are on Billboard's Dance / Electronic Albums chart.
This Vancouver-based vocalist and instrumentalist is most known for co-founding and singing with the electronic band Skinny Puppy. He also co-founded the band ohGr. He was also an actor, having appeared in films including Scream Park and The Devil's Carnival.
